About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Develop and optimize mechanical designs for new products and systems, ensuring they meet performance, cost, and manufacturing criteria.
Prototyping and Testing: Create prototypes, conduct tests, and analyze results to ensure designs are robust, efficient, and reliable.
CAD Modeling: Produce detailed 3D models and technical drawings using industry-standard software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
Analysis and Simulation: Perform engineering calculations and simulations (FEA, CFD) to validate designs, predict performance, and identify potential failure modes.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects from concept through to production, ensuring all technical specifications, timelines, and budgets are adhered to.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers to integrate mechanical designs into products.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality processes.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the design, prototyping, and manufacturing stages.
